About Elle.

Elizabeth (Elle) Mitchell is a multidisciplinary artist and author of dark fiction, crip fic, and essays. She is a co-chair of the HWA’s Oregon chapter. She spends her downtime gaming, fighting for disability rights, researching, and eating more than her share of homemade baked goods (when her body allows). Being a woman with several invisible illnesses, she enjoys living a semi-horizontal life with her husband and spoiled furbutts in the PNW.

You can find my books and limited edition miniatures connected to them in her shop. Sign up for my newsletter to keep up to date with my goings on, receive a free horror short story, and get other exclusive content delivered to your inbox twice a month.

Need advice or help with your writing? Trying to figure out self-publishing? Not sure how to manage being creative while being disabled? Think about having a coaching/writer helping session or see what courses/workshops I have available.

How to contact me: you must email me the old-fashioned way. I’m taking a permanent break from Instagram and will only be posting about upcoming books. Leaving a DM there will most likely go unseen for many months.

Please keep in mind that I’m a spoonie (chronically ill person), so I can take a while to email you back. It isn’t personal—promise. I

do want to talk to you, and I will answer your emails in the order in which they were received. <3
