Elizabeth Mitchell was less than a year old when she got her first nickname. Since, she’s collected them like trading cards. It’s been so hard for her to choose what to be called over the years, she answers to a lot of things. But if you want to read her work, you only have to remember one thing: she’s just another Elizabeth. Her writing can be found under Elle and Buffy.

Elle Mitchell writes dark fiction, crip horror, and essays that challenge, scratch, and claw, then burrow deep. She tackles issues of disability and trauma, blends genres, and explores the human psyche. She’s a gamer with potato aim and an alchemist who turns pain into art. As a woman with several invisible illnesses, she enjoys living a semi-horizontal life with her husband and spoiled furbutts in the PNW. She also writes speculative crip fic and dark imaginative stories under Buffy Mitchell.
